Job Description

Choisys Technology is seeking a Help Desk professional with the following skills to support a DoD customer in Fort Eustis, VA.

This is a 100% remote position, but please be aware that the company reserves the right to return to an on-site environment at any time. You must be able to go on-site for your initial ramp-up and for picking up/dropping off your equipment.

• Positive customer service attitude and working knowledge of computer systems are two essential qualities required for the Help Desk position at the Army Training Support Center-Lifelong Learning Center (ATSC-LLC).
• You will be responsible for: Coordinating internal trouble tickets with the engineers while maintaining open and timely communications with both the end user and the technical team as they seek resolution for complex issues
• Act as liaison between Help Desk and System Engineers; Answering Help Desk calls; Responding to ATHD-AESMP tickets
• Assist with Enrollment processing; Perform Touch Point data formatting; Perform Monthly and adhoc Report formatting

Technical Requirements
• 2 years Help Desk experience or similar customer service area.
• Help Desk Institute (HDI) Customer Service Representative (preferred).
• Windows 11 experience.
• Experience with MS Office products (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain COMPTIA Security+ CE certification within 6 months of start date.
• Secret clearance is preferred but must be US Citizen and ability to obtain T1 Investigation .

Service Contract Act (SCA) Role Compensation:
• Base Salary Range: $50,000 – $54,000 per year (depending on experience).
• Additional SCA Benefit: In addition to your base salary, this position includes a mandatory Health & Welfare (H&W) fringe benefit of $5.09 per hour (approximately $10,587 annually).
• Flexibility: The H&W benefit is used to provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. If you already have coverage (e.g., through a spouse or the VA), the remaining balance is paid directly to you as cash-in-lieu or deposited into your 401(k) retirement account.

As a Service Contract Act (SCA) covered position, you are also entitled to:
• 11 Paid Federal Holidays annually.
• Paid Vacation: Accrued based on years of service.
• Paid Sick Leave: 56 hours per year per Executive Order 13706.
