The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Production Support Specialist to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) operations with a focus on Government Furnished Material (GFM) accountability, tracking, and issue resolution.
This role requires a hands-on presence at Joint Systems Manufacturing Center (JSMC) with coordination across Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) and General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS).
Key Responsibilities:
GFM Accountability: Provide weekly GFM inventory receipt reports to FMS (CDRL A010) and ensure proper tracking of all materials.
Coordination: Work closely with GDLS on GFM accountability and elevate delivery or quality issues to the FMS program office.
Inventory Oversight: Monitor day-to-day GFM status, identify potential line stoppers, and track critical part shortages between JSMC and ANAD.
Verification: Physically verify receipt, location, and quantities of GFM and armor deliveries; report discrepancies as required.
Logistics Tracking: Ensure all GFM sent for repair or return is properly documented, tracked, and reconciled.
Problem Resolution: Support troubleshooting efforts including hand counts, relabeling of mislabeled parts, and resolving discrepancies from depots or contractors.
PQDR Management: Write, issue, track, and process Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), including close-out actions and documentation management.
Communication: Coordinate across stakeholders via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams to ensure timely resolution of material issues.
Qualifications
Secret Clearance is required.
Minimum 15 years specialized experience in working with/on tracked or wheeled combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity, working directly with PM offices, and working onsite at military installations
