The Opportunity

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support M88 vehicle production operations at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) in support of PM Maneuver, Ammunition & Vehicles (PM MAV), including PdD Combat Recovery Systems (CRS) - M88 and PdM AMPV.

This role focuses on production visibility, supply chain coordination, and resolving issues impacting vehicle overhaul and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

• Production Monitoring: Track day-to-day status of potential line stoppers and critical part shortages impacting M88 production.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Interface with TACOM Item Managers, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Service Supply Activities, General Dynamics Anniston Operations (GDAO), and Process Action Teams.
• Supply Chain Tracking: Monitor part shortages identified during field inspections, disassembly, reclamation, and overhaul processes.
• Requisition & Repair Tracking: Provide status updates on requisitions and track assemblies sent to vendors for repair or upgrade.
• Program Reporting: Report status of ANAD projects to PM MAV / PdD CRS (M88) as required.
• Program Reviews: Support and attend the annual Program Management Review (PMR).
• Stakeholder Support: Provide direct support to PM MAV organizations, including PdM AMPV and PdD CRS (M88).
• Communication: Coordinate across stakeholders via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
• Experience in DoD production, depot maintenance, or vehicle sustainment environments
• Familiarity with Army systems, particularly tracked vehicles (M88, Abrams, AMPV preferred)
• Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and production processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site at ANAD and coordinate across multiple organizations.
• Effective communication skills across Government and contractor teams.
• Vehicle Production Support for FMS efforts at ANAD (Engineering Technician, Except Drafter)

The contractor shall track the day-to-day status of potential line stoppers and critical shortage parts with special interest focused on
resolving integration, schedule, quality, manufacturing, and production program management issues between ANAD, PL FMS, TACOM Item
Managers, DLA, Service and Supply Activities, GDAO, and the various Process Action Teams. The contractor shall track part shortages
identified during field inspections, vehicle disassembly, reclamation, and repair/overhaul processes at ANAD and provide status of
requisitions for those part shortages and assemblies shipped to and from vendors for repair and/or upgrade in support of M88 vehicle
production programs at ANAD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education, an associate's degree in a technical science field or some classes in engineering at an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years specialized experience in working with/on tracked or wheeled combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity, working directly with PM offices, and working onsite at military installations.
