What we are looking for:
- Must have proven experience supporting a President, CEO, or senior executive
- Prior experience supporting executives in the government contracting or federal contracting environment or experience supporting a President, CEO, or senior executive of a large corporation
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow through
- Clear, concise, and executive level written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to operate independently with minimal direction
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high trust environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and modern collaboration tools
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary administrative and strategic partner to the President, managing complex calendars, priorities, and daily logistics
- Act as a gatekeeper and trusted advisor, helping protect the President's time and focus
- Anticipate needs, identify conflicts, and proactively resolve issues before they escalate
- Coordinate meetings end to end, including agenda preparation, briefing materials, action item tracking, and follow through
- Manage communications on behalf of the President with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with absolute integrity
- Support preparation for board meetings, executive leadership sessions, and high priority initiatives
- Coordinate travel, expenses, and scheduling with precision and attention to detail
- Partner closely with senior leaders and cross functional teams to ensure alignment and clear communication
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance executive and organizational effectiveness.
What you Bring
We require:
- Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive assistant role, supporting C-level executives
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive assistant role, supporting C-level executives
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow through
- Clear, concise, and executive level written and verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment and the ability to operate independently with minimal direction
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, high trust environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and modern collaboration tools
Nice to have:
- Master's degree in business administration, communications or related field
- Experience supporting board of directors meetings and executive leadership teams
- Background in a growing or fast moving organization
- Experience working with senior leaders across multiple departments
- Strong problem solving skills and a proactive, anticipatory working style
Work Environment:
- Remote based in DC, MD, or VA
- Occasional travel required to support
- May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate the CEO's schedule

Salary range: $75,000 - $92,000
