We are seeking a high-energy Technical Team Lead to take charge of an existing, mid-stage test-system development effort and lead a focused team of 4-7 engineers through the remaining design, integration, prototyping, EMI qualification, and verification phases. Requirements are fully defined; the lead will drive the implementation of RF, software (LabVIEW-based) and hardware architectures, manage rapid hardware-software prototyping, and ensure rigorous verification against system-level test specifications. In addition to overseeing configuration control and continuous-integration processes, the role carries full Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsibility under EVMS and requires frequent briefings and presentations to senior leadership and the U.S. Government customer. This fast-paced, high-visibility assignment offers significant growth potential for a self-motivated technical leader.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience
- Proven team-lead experience managing cross-functional technical projects
- Hands-on Cost Account Manager (CAM) background with full budget-ownership
- Development expertise in software (Python, C/C++, C#, LabVIEW), hardware engineering, or RF hardware development at system level
- High-energy, self-motivated; driven to deliver results with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills to inspire and guide junior engineers
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Mastery of two or more languages such as C++, C#, and Python, with solid hands-on experience applying object-oriented design patterns
- Expert in test-system hardware design and configuration management, including managing redline updates, version-controlled schematics, and bill-of-materials control to ensure rapid, reliable hardware evolution
- Deep familiarity with the full requirements-management lifecycle; from capturing test requirements for complex systems, through automated-test equipment specs, to rigorous configuration control
- Proven expertise using DOORS (or equivalent) for requirements authoring, traceability, and change management
- Skilled at creating detailed test-system specifications and engineering the hardware architecture needed to realize them
- Strong background in test-automation frameworks (e.g., pytest, GoogleTest, LabVIEW TestStand) and CI/CD pipelines for continuous verification
- Experience integrating hardware and software (NI HW, COTS HW) to build end-to-end test systems that meet performance and safety margins

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
