The duties include the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

Experience and Skills

• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs., operate material handling equipment i.e. forklift, pallet jacks, drive a van or truck and climb up and down ladders and stairs. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in working with several diverse teams. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and be able to attain substantial understanding about the tasks at hand while applying learned knowledge and skills to a wide variety of tasks
• Must be able to work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Demonstrate and apply computer skills to ensure correct information is accurately entered into inventory systems. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Secret clearance and able to qualify for a TS/SCI

Desired Skills

• Dock and warehouse experience, ability to operate handheld scanners or tablets, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, familiar with manufacturing and test operations, knowledge of equipment calibration recall processes, as well as tooling applications.
• 2-4 years receiving, inventory, warehouse, and kitting experience. Must have the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and process related to their area of expertise. Be proficient with Department of Defense material handling forms (i.e. DD Form 1149, DD Form 250, etc.) and procedures.
• Experience with Defense Contract Management Agency and Federal Acquisition Regulations to manage Government Procured Equipment audits. This job description is subject to change at any time as requirements change

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $30.00
