Change Management Specialist - Organizational Change & Adoption Lead
Location: Remote
Description:
Seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Change Management Specialist to develop and execute organizational change management supporting VFMP modernization initiatives. This role will drive adoption by developing and implementing communications, coaching, resistance management, sponsor engagement, and training plans and by tracking execution and effectiveness over time.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop OCM deliverables: communications plan, coaching plan, resistance management plan, sponsor roadmap, training plan, and supporting artifacts.
• Create messaging materials, presentations, and content that support internal and external adoption of modernization changes.
• Track delivery of planned communications/training/change activities across multiple projects; maintain OCM schedules and reporting.
• Conduct after-action reviews and adoption effectiveness assessments; recommend improvements and implement updates.
• Coordinate closely with PMs, KM resources, and operational leaders to align adoption activities with delivery timelines.
• Support stakeholder engagement and readiness activities to ensure sustained adoption and ROI.
Required Skills:
• Strong change management planning and execution skills (communications, readiness, training enablement).
• Excellent writing, editing, and presentation development capability.
• Strong facilitation skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Experience supporting operational changes in high-volume service delivery environments.
• Preferred: Prosci or equivalent change management certification
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years relevant OCM experience preferred
