PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ENGINEER - PART-TIME

The company is seeking a part-time Principal Systems Engineers to provide SETA support in Hanover, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess systems, determine problems, provide solutions to issues that arise, design systems, upgrade systems, maintain systems and brainstorm possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.
• Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, such as clients, vendors, management, and information technology (IT) staff during the creation and maintenance of a system. Create control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization's quality standards.
• Engage in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational.
• Develop a cost-efficient system for projects by performing a cost-benefit analysis

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree in engineering or computer science
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in systems engineering supporting DoD programs (additional years of experience in industry may be substituted for some of DoD experience).

SECURITY CLEARANCE
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required

TRAVEL
• Some travel may be required.
