Job Description
Amentum is seeking a Training Developer/Instructor to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and instruct training modules and courses on CI tradecraft, threats from foreign adversaries, and leadership development.
- Deliver training modules and courses to groups of varying size and composition, both in person and in virtual environments.
- Assist members of the directorate with coordinating and scheduling attendance at external training courses and events.
- Analyze data and conduct studies to determine immediate and long-range training needs and priorities.
- Assess the training program's effectiveness by analyzing requirements, monitoring customer feedback, and evaluating learning outcomes to ensure organizational goals are met and to drive quality improvement.
- Track attendance at internal and external training events and generate reports containing relevant attendance metrics.
- Create visual aids (such as posters, pamphlets, slide decks, etc.) to support training efforts, particularly in support of a national CI Awareness program.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Individual must be a graduate of an FBI, DOD, or other CI credentialing or other certifying counterintelligence training program.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is preferred for this position, preferably in a field related to adult education, instructional design, geopolitical or national security studies, or a STEM field.
- Completed a formal instructor training course from a U.S. Government agency or a similar civilian educational program.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience conducting counterintelligence (CI) activities within a U.S. Intelligence Community CI program. This background should include a mastery of CI principles, concepts, and practices, particularly concerning tradecraft and threats from foreign adversaries.
- Must have at least two (2) years of experience in a role where the primary duties involved developing courses, training, instruction, and/or the evaluation of a training program.
- A broad understanding of global affairs and international issues is necessary to ensure training content remains relevant to U.S. National Security challenges.
- Required skills include oral communication, public speaking, instructional abilities, and the capacity to analyze and evaluate training needs and program effectiveness.
- Proficiency in office automation software, such as the Microsoft Office suite.
