4409 Program Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking a mission-driven, results-oriented Program Manager to lead the execution of high-priority initiatives for a defense-sector client. In this role, you will own the delivery of workstreams or small engagements, ensuring outputs are high-quality, actionable, and aligned with mission outcomes.

You will play a key role in implementing Dcode's RAIC methodology by helping establish operating models, streamline acquisition pathways, improve decision-making, and enable scalable innovation. This position requires strong execution skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity independently, solve complex problems, and maintain trusted client relationships.

Success in this role is defined by delivering measurable results, proactively resolving issues, maintaining strong client alignment, and contributing to solutions that improve speed, efficiency, and impact across programs.

Security Clearance:

• TS/SCI with Polygraph strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery

• Own the delivery of defined workstreams or small projects, ensuring outputs are timely, high-quality, and aligned with client needs.
• Translate client objectives into actionable plans, deliverables, and execution strategies.
• Develop clear, decision-ready deliverables, including briefings, frameworks, analyses, and reports.
• Drive execution in agile, sprint-based environments while maintaining visibility into progress and outcomes.
• Support or lead small engagements or contracts, ensuring delivery expectations are met.

Analysis & Problem Solving

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently with minimal guidance.
• Anticipate risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent future challenges.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to improve processes, workflows, and program outcomes.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance delivery efficiency and overall program impact.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Support

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders.
• Actively listen to customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
• Serve as a reliable day-to-day point of contact for client counterparts.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment by synthesizing inputs and driving informed decisions.

Continuous Improvement & Initiative

• Contribute to the design and refinement of operating models, governance structures, and repeatable processes.
• Support the development and implementation of decision frameworks, including prioritization, risk assessment, and transition readiness.
• Define, track, and report on performance metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and decision velocity.
• Assist in developing ROI and impact models to support leadership decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in consulting, government, defense, or related fields.
• Proven experience owning workstreams or small projects with accountability for successful delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and solve ambiguous challenges.
• Experience producing high-quality, client-ready deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, Excel analyses, and written products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with government acquisition processes, innovation programs, or technology integration initiatives.
• Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments.
