DESCRIPTION OF POSITION / DUTIES:
All Points is seeking a Cleared Systems Engineer - Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Chantilly, VA. The selected candidate will support mission-critical IT networks, systems, and applications across a secure multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
This team is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing operations of enterprise systems that support law enforcement, intelligence, legal, and administrative personnel. These systems are critical to FBI mission success and require reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure to support operational continuity and minimize disruption.
**ACTIVE, CURRENT, AND FULLY ADJUDICATED US DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY IS REQUIRED.**
The Systems Engineer SME will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing enhancements to infrastructure, network environments, and operating systems. This role emphasizes modern infrastructure engineering practices, including containerization, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and hybrid cloud integration, while maintaining operational reliability of mission-critical systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Plan, design, and implement changes to network infrastructure, server environments, and operating systems
• Provide support for day-to-day operations while ensuring stability and performance of enterprise systems
• Design and implement solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments
• Support and maintain containerized environments and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (e.g., Terraform)
• Perform systems integration across multi-enclave environments
• Maintain infrastructure standards including networking, security, and compliance
• Support patching, accreditation, and system hardening processes
• Provide technical guidance on system architecture, infrastructure design, and platform optimization
• Participate in Agile Release Train (ART) and Program Increment (PI) activities
• Support implementation of DevSecOps practices and tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable system delivery
SAFe 6.0 Facilitation Support (contract support PM & Agile team support)
Responsible for guidance and facilitation of SAFe Principles. Plan and manage the work, and values to uphold while promoting alignment, collaboration, and delivery across large numbers of agile teams, currently aligned in two Agile Release Trains. The first aligns teams to focus on enabling operational insight by increasing data discoverability through enterprise search or query. The second aligns teams to focus on enabling the operational analysis and triage of data through visualization, enrichments, and analytics within Global Mission Analytics (GMA).

DESIRED EDUCATION LEVEL:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Virtualization technologies (vSphere, VxRail, Proxmox, Nutanix)
- Network administration and security
- Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)
- Linux and Windows operating systems
- Windows Active Directory
- Network hardware (Cisco, Arista, SonicWall)
- Hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- DevSecOps practices and tools
- Security accreditation processes
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Splunk, or similar data platforms
- Scripting and automation (Python, C#, or similar)
- Understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure systems in government environments
DESIRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Experience as a scrum participant and software release processes
- Communicate work using SMART
- Relevant security certifications (Security+, CEH, or equivalent) preferred
- Advanced security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent) preferred
