  • Support planning and execution efforts for major exercises, including large-scale Air Force and joint-service training events.
  • Coordinate with operations, training, weapons, scheduling, and exercise planning teams to ensure mission objectives are identified, integrated into planning efforts, and successfully achieved during execution.
  • Maintain exercise planning records, schedules, briefings, and supporting documentation.
  • Consolidate, organize, and maintain After-Action Reports (AARs) and lessons learned from completed exercises.

  • Schedule and facilitate planning meetings, record meeting minutes, and track action items.
  • Serve as a liaison between squadron leadership, exercise planners, scheduling personnel, and participating organizations.
  • Disseminate exercise planning information and schedules across classified and unclassified systems as required.
  • Monitor changes to exercise plans and proactively coordinate with stakeholders to minimize operational impacts.
  • Track and report exercise participation metrics and readiness data as directed by leadership.
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable Air Force, Department of Defense, and operational regulations that govern exercise planning and execution.
  • Provide administrative and planning support to unit exercise project officers and leadership teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a military environment.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience serving as a Flight Scheduler within a Department of Defense flying squadron.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with large-scale military exercises, including joint, coalition, or combat readiness training events.
  • Knowledge of Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) or virtual training environments.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple organizations in a fast-paced operational setting.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing leadership briefings, reports, and presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must possess a professional work history and maintain standards consistent with government and military support environments. Applicants should have no significant adverse employment or military disciplinary history within the past five years, including criminal, judicial, or administrative actions that would impact eligibility for this position.

We offer a best-in-class benefits program including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) program with employer match; paid vacation and sick leave; employer-paid basic life and AD&D insurance; an Employee Assistance Program; and a flexible work environment.
