Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics and novel algorithm development.
• Conduct comprehensive software design, testing, and requirements analysis.
• Perform database engineering and manipulate extremely large data sets.
• Lead software development teams and collaborate effectively with system and hardware engineers.
• Utilize key technologies such as Java, AWS, Confluence, JIRA, Gitlab, and NiFi.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $305k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based on documented requirements.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design, code, and modify software to add new features, correct defects, and improve performance.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components; review and test software for adherence to design.
• Provide specific input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and requirements analysis.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance, data usage, and investigating problem areas.
• Serve as a team lead, overseeing software development teams and ensuring adherence to process constraints.
• Design and implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
• Confer with system and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and understand project limitations.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning.
• Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Required skills include Java, AWS, Confluence, JIRA, Gitlab, NiFi, Software Testing, Dataflow, Requirements Analysis, Mathematics, Algorithm Development, Systems Engineering, Database Engineering, Technical Team Leadership, and Full life cycle software development.
