Security Program Analyst
Overview: Aether Aerospace is seeking a Security Program Analyst (Journeyman) to provide administrative, analytical, knowledge management, and security support to the NAVAIR Inspector General (IG) and Fraud, Ethics, and Security (FES) organizations. This position supports mission execution through data analysis, knowledge management, records administration, secure information handling, and operational coordination while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy security, privacy, and information management requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, comfortable working with sensitive information, and experienced supporting government organizations through data management, reporting, SharePoint administration, and administrative operations. This position operates independently while supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and administer IG/FES SharePoint sites, Knowledge Portals, Communities of Practice, and electronic repositories while ensuring documents, SOPs, and reference materials remain current and properly organized.
- Compile, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), compliance metrics, and operational data to support leadership decision-making.
- Perform data queries, exception reporting, and reporting support using systems including IBONS, NIGHTS, ESAMS, and other approved government applications.
- Extract, organize, analyze, and present data using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools to identify trends, support audits, and provide leadership with actionable information.
- Utilize approved AI-assisted productivity tools (such as ChatGPT, Ask Sage, Gemini, Grok, Capra, or similar technologies) to improve administrative efficiency, summarize information, assist with data analysis, and identify trends while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity, privacy, and information protection requirements.
- Support secure handling, organization, storage, and tracking of sensitive case materials, investigative documentation, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and other protected information in accordance with DoD and NAVAIR policies.
- Coordinate NMCI account activities, software requests, workstation support actions, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
- Receive, route, track, and maintain official correspondence; prepare routine memorandums and documentation; process items through DON Tracker; and maintain organized electronic and hard-copy records.
- Assist in preparing executive briefings, presentations, reports, and other leadership materials while ensuring appropriate protection and marking of sensitive information.
- Coordinate Defense Travel System (DTS) travel authorizations and related travel documentation.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, schedule conference rooms, support visitor coordination, and assist with facility access requirements.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to IG/FES leadership while ensuring compliance with applicable security, records management, privacy, and information assurance requirements.
- Support program management activities by collecting, organizing, tracking, and analyzing program status, schedules, documentation, and project information.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree with 1 year of relevant experience; Associate's degree with 2 years; or High School diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience supporting DoD or Federal Government programs.
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to maintain eligibility.
- Experience supporting program management, administrative, analytical, or security-related functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Ask Sage, Grok, Capra, or similar LLMs) to improve efficiency, automate routine tasks, analyze data, and develop written products.
- Ability to develop effective prompts, validate AI-generated content, and apply sound judgment while protecting CUI, PII, and other sensitive information in accordance with DoD cybersecurity and privacy requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Qualifications Desired:
- Experience supporting NAVAIR, NAWCAD, or other DoD organizations.
- Experience with IBONS, NIGHTS, ESAMS, DON Tracker, DTS, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar government and business intelligence tools.
- Experience developing AI-driven workflows, automations, dashboards, or knowledge management solutions.
- Working knowledge of DoD security disciplines, including INFOSEC, OPSEC, COMSEC, PHYSEC, and Industrial Security.
