Job Description
- Greet, screen, and direct visitors in accordance with Government security procedures and the OGC routing matrix.
- Control visitor access, implement visitor management and office security protocols, and maintain a professional front office environment at all times.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls; receive and record messages accurately.
- Maintain assigned attorneys' calendars; schedule and reschedule appointments, meetings, conferences, and conference calls.
- Maintain daily suspense lists, remind attorneys and staff of deadlines and commitments, and reserve meeting rooms to prevent scheduling conflicts.
- Schedule and make travel and lodging arrangements for OGC staff, including cost comparisons, pre travel approvals, and travel voucher entry into ConcurGov or other Government-designated systems.
- Serve as timekeeper as assigned; input time, leave, and attendance information into HR Links or other designated systems.
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, reports, memoranda, legal briefs, exhibits, pleadings, and other written materials using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and other Government-designated software.
- Establish and maintain physical and electronic files; maintain documents, correspondence, case files, legal subject files, and other materials in accordance with applicable office file plans.
- Support timely filing with the U.S. District Court, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, boards of contract appeals, the Government Accountability Office, Department of Justice, and U.S. Attorney offices, as directed.
- Search for, assemble, and summarize information from authorized sources using LexisNexis, Westlaw, GSA electronic databases, and other authorized resources.
- Receive, log, ascertain, and route incoming FOIA requests and related communications.
