As an EMC Lab RF Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our testing operations. Your expertise will help engineers validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with global standards. The data you collect and the insights you provide will directly influence product safety certifications and customer trust.
Set up and operate RF and EMC test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power amplifiers, and EMI receivers.
Conduct radiated and conducted emissions/immunity tests in accordance with standards such as DO-160 and MIL-STD-461.
Configure test environments in shielded rooms.
Assist in troubleshooting RF interference issues and documenting root causes.
Maintain calibration records and ensure all test equipment meets requirements.
Collaborate with engineers to refine test plans and improve measurement accuracy.
What You'll Bring
Hands-on experience in EMC or RF testing environments.
Familiarity with EMC standards.
Proficiency in using RF test instruments such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and RF power meters.
Strong troubleshooting skills for RF signal paths, grounding, and shielding issues.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
