Synertex LLC is seeking an experienced Exercise Project Officer (EPO) to support Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) in planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating military exercises, aerial events, and engagements throughout the Indo-Pacific region.

The EPO will support assigned activities throughout the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), from initial planning through execution and After-Action Review (AAR). The position requires strong military exercise planning experience, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with PACAF, MAJCOMs, Wings, Joint Forces, and other participating organizations.

Salary will be commensurate with relevant exercise planning, PACAF/INDOPACOM, aviation, and military experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support assigned PACAF exercises, aerial events, and engagements throughout the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), from planning through execution and AAR.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain exercise plans, schedules, briefings, and other required planning documentation.
• Coordinate exercise requirements with PACAF, MAJCOMs, Wings, Joint/Service components, and participating organizations.
• Support planning and execution of Command Post Exercises (CPXs), Field Training Exercises (FTXs), Staff Exercises (STAFF-EX), Tabletop Exercises (TTXs), and aviation-focused engagements.
• Coordinate exercise planning meetings, conferences, and associated logistical requirements.
• Identify and resolve exercise planning and execution issues and coordinate Courses of Action (COAs) when necessary.
• Support exercise assessments, lessons learned, and After-Action Reviews (AARs).
• Coordinate with U.S. and international partners as required for assigned exercises and engagements.
• Travel up to 25% CONUS/OCONUS in support of exercise requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 3+ years of experience planning USAF MAJCOM-level or equivalent military exercises.
• Experience supporting the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) or comparable military exercise planning process.
• Experience supporting military exercises, deployments, or mobilization activities.
• Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with military, government, and contractor personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple planning requirements in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Recent military experience, preferably within the last 5–10 years.
• Military officer background.
• PACAF, INDOPACOM/PACOM, MAJCOM, Numbered Air Force, or AOC staff experience.
• Aviation background, including Pilot, Navigator, Air Battle Manager, or Aircrew experience.
• Experience planning or executing CPXs, FTXs, STAFF-EXs, or TTXs.
• Experience supporting military exercises in the Indo-Pacific/PACOM AOR.
• Familiarity with PACAF force structure and operations.
• Experience with JOPES and/or DCAPES.
• Familiarity with JTT or G-TSCMIS.
• Familiarity with M4S and military funding processes, including MIPRs, AF-616s, and CAMs.
• Working knowledge of the INDOPACOM Theater Campaign Plan and PACAF Strategy.
