About the Role
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a dynamic project with a global scope. This fully remote role is ideal for a skilled ServiceNow professional who can quickly understand an existing environment, work effectively within established code, and contribute to an ongoing development workstream.
The ServiceNow Developer will design and develop custom service portals, enhance the ServiceNow Service Catalog, create request forms, integrate external systems, and implement appropriate security controls. The role requires strong ServiceNow development experience as well as front-end development skills using technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
You will work in a structured, collaborative environment alongside a Business Analyst and other technical resources. From the start, you will be expected to become familiar with the existing ServiceNow instance, understand current functionality and code, and begin contributing to development efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow service portals, including functionality involving complex queries.
- Develop and enhance the ServiceNow Service Catalog.
- Create and configure request forms and associated workflows.
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow security controls, including Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- Perform front-end development using AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.
- Review and understand existing ServiceNow code, configurations, and functionality.
- Collaborate with existing technical resources to facilitate knowledge transfer and understand functionality requiring transformation or enhancement.
- Troubleshoot development issues and identify effective technical solutions.
- Work closely with a Business Analyst and other team members within a structured, continuous development environment.
- Manage multiple development activities and priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing custom ServiceNow service portals, including portals requiring complex queries.
- Experience developing and maintaining the ServiceNow Service Catalog.
- Experience creating ServiceNow request forms and related functionality.
- Experience developing integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
- Experience implementing ServiceNow security controls, including Access Control Lists (ACLs).
- Front-end development experience using AngularJS, HTML, and/or CSS.
- Ability to review, understand, and work effectively with existing code.
- Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and priorities.
