Logistics Analyst/Engineer

Responsibilities

The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, and maintaining integrated logistics products and documentation to support system lifecycle management, sustainment, and operational readiness. Duties include developing and updating logistics plans, Supportability Strategies (SS), Acquisition Logistics Support Plans (ALSP), and Life Cycle Management Plans (LCMP); reviewing logistics products for supportability; and supporting all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.

The role maintains and tracks Government-owned inventory, materials, and warehouse assets, including monitoring material procurement, delivery, storage, transfers, and issuance. Responsibilities include researching and managing material records within Navy logistics systems, maintaining inventory databases, supporting provisioning and maintenance planning activities, monitoring parts management and obsolescence issues, and assisting with technology refresh initiatives. The Logistics Support Specialist also maintains accurate records of installed equipment, performs inventory accountability and barcoding functions, ensures proper use of Government-furnished inventory, and prepares required logistics documentation and status reports in support of Government programs and projects. Travel may be required to support logistics operations, inventory management, and program requirements.

Qualifications

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience conducting Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and spares modeling.
• Experience with developing technical manuals.

Desired Experience:

• Six (6) or more years of experience developing Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP).
• Three (3) years of experience creating training plans for fleet personnel and managing government supply chains.

Security Clearance:  Requires U.S. Citizenship and an active government security clearance.
