Senior AWS Cloud Architect/Engineer

Description:
On-site in Reston, VA As a Senior AWS Cloud Architect/Engineer, you will be a key player in architecting, designing, and implementing cloud solutions for our clients. You will work closely with development teams, stakeholders, and other technical experts to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on AWS
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into applications
• Optimize cloud architectures for cost-efficiency and performance
• Implement security best practices and compliance measures
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Stay current with AWS technologies and industry trends
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering
• Extensive experience with AWS services and tools
• Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, etc.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
