Description:

Our client seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow platform development, discovery processes, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices for discovery and integrations.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and test integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
• Utilize ServiceNow APIs, scripting, and workflow tools to build robust applications.
• Participate in discovery sessions to gather requirements and define solution architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations and platform performance.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and security in all developed solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development.
• Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideRecord, etc.).
• Experience with ServiceNow discovery and integration modules.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design in ServiceNow.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with federal government clients, especially the Department of Transportation.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Clearance: Public Trust clearance required.
