Informatica/Tableau Developer

Description:
Remote in either Washington, DC Our client seeks an Informatica/Tableau Developer to support enterprise data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Informatica and creating interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data integration workflows in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Create and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop complex mappings, transformations, and scripts to support data integration across multiple systems.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to support business intelligence needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Ensure data quality and consistency through data profiling and validation techniques.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing data integration and reporting solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data integration and business intelligence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data integration and business intelligence.
• Proven experience with Informatica PowerCenter, including workflow design, mapping development, and administration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
