About the Opportunity

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assembler 4 to join our team in Everett, WA. In this role, you will perform a variety of mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations in both standard and non-standard environments. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining efficient workflow while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and written work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, hand cutters, and light machinery.
• Perform product testing, fabrication, and inspection activities.
• Conduct quality checks, identify defects, and document findings.
• Rework and repair assembled products according to engineering change requirements.
• Maintain inventory of materials and products at workstations.
• Follow established quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Work in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant assembly experience.
• In lieu of a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience Required: Must have a minimum of 3 years of testing and assembly experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Skills

• Mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Experience working with engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.
