Title: Special Security Office Support

Clearance: TS/SCI

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Mission Essential is seeking an experienced Special Security Office (SSO) Support Specialist to provide critical personnel and physical security support for SOCAFRICA/SOCEUR operations in Stuttgart, Germany. In this role, you will help manage SCI security programs, support SCIF operations, maintain security records and clearances, and ensure compliance with intelligence community security requirements. The ideal candidate is a highly organized security professional with extensive experience supporting classified programs in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Job Description:

Contractor shall support Special Security Office (SSO) requirements across SOCAFRICA or SOCEUR. The objective of SSO support is to maintain the SCI personnel security program as well as assisting with the physical security program of all Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) throughout the command. The SSO shall be the Primary SSR for the SOCAFRICA Commander's Secure Working Area (SWA) and ensure that the SWA SOP is followed and maintain SWA binder IAW ICD/ICS 705. The day-to-day support shall include, but are not limited to, the following activities:

  • Maintain personnel records and DISS subject reports for all individuals.
  • Assist in determining security clearance eligibility. Complete clearance verification letters and TS/SCI access request forms.
  • Ensure inbound personnel have the need-to-know TS/SCI material prior to scheduling an indoctrination.
  • Complete incoming and outgoing visit requests.
  • Issue, collect, and account for TS/SCI visitor badges.
  • Submit all unofficial and official foreign travel requests, to include foreign travel debriefs.
  • Submit all foreign contact information to the adjudication authority.
  • Initiate all T5 and T5R investigations using DISS, eQuip, and PSIP.
  • Assist with monthly random inspections at SOCAFRICA sensitive compartmented information facilities.
  • Assist with semi-annual alarm tests at SOCAFRICA sensitive compartmented information facilities


REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

Fifteen (15) years of specialized experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and eleven (11) years of specialized experience OR Master's degree in a related field and nine (9) years of specialized experience

Work Hours: Shall provide support between the hours of 0730 to 1700, Monday through Friday
