Standard Job Description

• Data Management & Reporting
  
  
  • Compile, process, and analyze QC records for aircraft configuration, flight status, mandatory LRUs, engine parts life, and TO compliance.
  • Maintain electronic databases (engine life-tracking, Joint Oil Analysis Program, CEMS).
  • Generate Quality Deficiency Reports (DRs) for flight/maintenance discrepancies.
• Document Review & Auditing
  
  
  • Verify manufacturing, inspection, and manual entry documents from Field Operations and Final Assembly.
  • Audit rejection documents, installation plans, and maintenance records; report historical engine/parts changes.
  • Validate post-flight and pre-flight forms before release; attend debriefings and issue DRs as needed.
• Aircraft Release Coordination
  
  
  • Certify release records during component or aircraft movement; ensure DR disposition at release and DD-250 generation.
  • Initiate and maintain Flight Record documentation per TOs and contracts.
• AFTO & HRCN Processing
  
  
  • Complete AFTO Form 781E for time-change or maintenance actions.
  • Initiate Historical Records Change Notices (HRCNs) and report engine transactions to Contracts and USAF (via CEMS).
• Engine & Oil Analysis Management
  
  
  • Track engine parts life using computer-based systems; process and store run/flight data.
  • Collect and process oil samples for the Joint Oil Analysis Program; report abnormalities and verify status before delivery.
• Technical Order Maintenance
  
  
  • Maintain the TO file for the QC Records Section.
  • Review all supplemental and change notices to keep documentation current.
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  Ability to interpret and apply maintenance and flight-test data to generate accurate reports.
  
  Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  
  Effective communication skills for coordinating with Field Operations, Contracts, and USAF personnel.
  
  Ability to work in both office and production-floor environments.
  
  Must be able to handle occasional lifting of documents and equipment up to 25 lb.

Basic Qualifications

5 years of experience in aerospace quality control, aircraft configuration management, or related field.

Experience with Air Force Technical Order Forms 781 Series , Technical Orders, and U.S. Air Force maintenance documentation.

Experience with electronic record-keeping systems (e.g., Comprehensive Engine Management System , engine life-tracking software, Integrated Maintenance Data System , etc.).

Desired Skills

Familiarity with Joint Oil Analysis Program (JOAP) procedures.

Experience with historical records change notice (HRCN) processes.

Knowledge of aircraft release procedures and DD-250 documentation.

Experience with maintaining F-16 Aircraft

Pay Information

• $34.20 - $54.90
