Java Software Engineer – Mid-Level

Our client seeks a mid-level Java Software Engineer to develop and maintain scalable Java applications in an automated DevSecOps AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with various third-party services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Proficient in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
