Sr. Configuration Analyst 
Location: Remote 
Required Clearance: Public Trust

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains and supports the integrity of a variety of operating system environments (i.e.. Windows, Linux, etc.) and various computer systems.
• Administer, install, and troubleshoot issues
• Perform system maintenance tasks such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance.
• Schedule, install, and test system software upgrades and patches.
• Configure software and resolve technical problems.
• Monitor and maintain software licensing, certificate upgrades and maintenance agreements.
• Analyzes changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
• Capability to set up CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
• Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting.
• Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
• Researches, analyzes, and designs system applications to meet the needs of an organization and integrate with existing and future systems.
• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures, problems, and requirements.
• Designs models and develops materials used for analysis and solution development including process maps and diagrams.
• Develops documentation and other aids for users to assist with installation, maintenance and operating procedures.
• May create coding and logic specifications for developers.
• Works on high-visibility, or mission critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional and research duties independently.
• Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.  

Required Skills:

• A minimum of thirteen (13) to twenty (20) years’ relevant experience. A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. Four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required.

• 10+ years of experience serving as a configuration manager for J2EE/Oracle Application for medium-to-complex applications development project.
• Working knowledge of Java coding using J2EE is preferred – 2+ years.
• 5 year’s Oracle MapViewer experience, with experience customizing client system options.
• Includes but is not limited to Oracle Fusion Middleware and requires seamless integration with Oracle database and middleware technologies.
• 5+ years of experience serving as a configuration manager for a medium-to-complex applications development project.
• Minimum 5 year’s expertise in Tomcat, Weblogic, Linux Server support, scripting and AI Tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps for pipeline configuration.
• Knowledge on Jenkins CI/CD, Ansible automation , GITHUB experience for source control – 2 years.
• Capable to test Oracle Scan Listener changes with 2+ years of experience.
• SSL certificate management.
• Splunk, ColdFusion, Windows & Linux administration - 5+ years.
• Ability to use application monitoring using AppDynamics, experience is preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting deployments, configuring access permissions, and managing backups and recovery would also be helpful.  
• Good to have AWS knowledge, Kafka, Rancher familiarity and some experience.
• Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check.  

Additional Requirements:

• All candidates must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.).
• All overtime must be pre-approved in writing by the client manager or his/her designated representative.
• Agency will not be reimbursed for overtime charges without previous written authorization. Authorized overtime will be reimbursed at straight time.
• The enforced dress code is business casual, i.e., collared shirt with slacks for men, no skirts above the knee for women.
