SAIC has an immediate need for a Systems Administrator to provides core enterprise service support onsite at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Job Description:
- Assist with base mobilization exercises, ensuring NIPR/SIPR systems, user accounts, workstation images, and application services remain stable and mission-ready for 1A BDEs.
- Manage account provisioning, patching, STIG implementation, printer/PKI/mobile device support, and Tier 2/3 troubleshooting across exercise environments.
- Maintain accurate configuration documentation, delivers timely and precise reporting, and ensures all personnel operate within SAIC guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to surface issues early, support modernization of enterprise services, and help sustain a reliable technical foundation for MCIS and mission command operations.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- BS degree and two (2) years of hands-on experience; four (4) years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Required Skills:
- Solid hands-on experience with VMware and/or other enterprise virtualization technologies.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Working knowledge of networking protocols, system security best practices, and IT infrastructure management.
- Proficient in Windows Server administration, patching, and update management.
- Familiarity with enterprise collaboration and project management tools.
- Understanding of DoD compliance frameworks, STIGs, and security hardening standards.
Required Certification:
- CompTIA Security+ CE
Required Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
