Summary:

Course Materials Assistant is responsible for managing and coordinating all office visa requirements and assisting the Course Materials Manager.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Supports the Course Material Manager with administrative responsibilities for contracted services.
• Assists in the maintenance of a centralized master library of all ATA course material (hard copy and electronic format) and ensures that all updated material is properly cataloged, and old versions of materials are disposed of
• Supports the production and delivery of all course material to training sites within and outside of CONUS
• Coordinates with printing, translation, and other providers to request, track, and receive high-quality, low-cost services in support of ATA
• Assists with course material translations for multiple languages
• Prepares, ships, receives and stores interpretation equipment
• Prepares course material for translation, printing and shipping
• Packs and ships ATA-related material via commercial carriers or unclassified pouch
• Assists with inventories of ATA training support and representational items for ATA courses (hats, collared shirts, pad-folios, and special awards for high-level officials)
• Maintains GSA vehicle fleet including routine maintenance servicing
• Provides new monthly mileage sheets for ATA Fleet Vehicles on 1st of the month and collect receipts and mileage sheets for previous month
• Enters monthly mileage for ATA Fleet Vehicles in FMIS by 5th of the month
• Serves as primary back-up in the absence of the Course Materials Manager

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent writing, communications, and interpersonal skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or four years of education and/or related experience
• Experience with the Federal procurement process is preferred but not required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suites applications and other database software packages utilized for financial management
• The work involves regular physical demands such as stooping and lifting of moderately heavy items, e.g., training materials/supply boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is $88,138.
