Position Title: M&S (Modeling & Simulation) Systems Engineer Location: Huntsville, AL Employment Type: Full-Time Clearance Required: Active Secret Position Overview We are seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer/Analyst to support Missile Defense System (MDS) Ground Test (GT) scenario design for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role supports HWIL and simulation-based testing used to evaluate U.S. defense systems. The team blends systems engineering, test engineering, and analysis to develop innovative, mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design and analyze MDS ground test scenarios based on system requirements and constraints Evaluate system performance and interoperability across defense components Utilize existing tools and contribute to future tool development Collaborate with software teams to enhance processes and capabilities Analyze data, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field 7–10 years of experience in system analysis or MDS component characterization (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis, Patriot, radar systems) Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Highly motivated with strong attention to detail and deadlines Active Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with Tableau, SQL, and/or Python Background in weapon systems or radar analysis Demonstrated ability to innovate and improve engineering processes
