Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subject area and Fourteen (14) years of experience
• Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree

Preferred Skills:

• Strong Java development experience
• Experience with MapReduce technologies such as Hadoop, Pig, and Hive
• Experience with Cloud development, including platforms like Hadoop, Cloudbase/Accumulo, BigTable, and related Big Data technologies
• Familiarity with GhostMachine and QTA is strongly preferred
• Understanding of serialization formats such as JSON and/or BSON
• Knowledge of distributed data processing and NoSQL data stores (e.g., HBase, Accumulo)
• Full-stack development experience is a plus
• Experience with Linux environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and test deployment in environments such as MASH
• Requirements gathering, documentation, and workflow design
• Experience with analytic development and/or mission data pipelines
• Familiarity with Software Configuration Management Tools such as JIRA, GIT, and Confluence
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
