Job Title: Machine Translation Developer (Software Engineer Level 1)
Job Description:

Coda Solutions Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE1) specializing in Machine Translation Development. This role involves supporting neural machine translation workflows, optimizing inference models, and providing DevOps and UI development support for real-time translation applications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and fine-tune open-source neural machine translation models for improved inference performance.
• Assist in hyperparameter tuning to maximize model efficiency.
• Update and maintain front-end UI for analysts to conduct on-demand model scoring.
• Provide DevOps support, ensuring efficient resource allocation for machine translation workloads.
• Maintain metrics tracking dashboards to monitor internal and external requests.

Qualifications:
Required Skills:

• Programming Languages: Java, Python
• Build & DevOps Tools: GitLab, Docker
• Workflow Orchestration: Experience with Ictorias or Marathon
• Metric Frameworks: Experience with Logstash or Ictoria

Desired Skills:

• Neural Machine Translation (NMT): Experience with PyTorch, OpenMT, or similar frameworks.
• Language Model Metrics: Familiarity with BLEU, chr-F scoring methodologies.
• Corporate Machine Translation Solutions: Experience with Sockeye, Marian, or equivalent technologies.
