Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function at our Fairfax, VA office. This individual will play a key role in supporting our employees and partnering with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a passion for people, process improvement, and organizational development.

This position will require onsite support at our office in Fairfax, VA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR best practices, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee benefits administration, compensation planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes and maintain accurate HR records and systems.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Support training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance if necessary (this requires US Citizenship)
Preferred Qualifications
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Experience in government contracting or a similar regulated environment.
