Position Title: Field Service Technician - Technical Operations & Intelligence Support
Location: Fort Bragg, NC (Relocation Required)
Travel: Up to 60% CONUS travel; OCONUS rotations up to 3 months possible
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required (per federal contract)

Overview
SHINE Systems is seeking technical operations and intelligence professionals with direct experience supporting Army intelligence and targeting systems. As a Field Service Technician, you will operate at the tactical edge-working alongside analysts and military units to deploy and sustain next-generation mission platforms. This hands-on role combines fieldwork, user training, system troubleshooting, and mission enhancement.

Where are you physically located? What is your availability for an MS Teams video interview during an average week? Do you have any firsthand experience with Palantir products? If yes, which ones, and how recently? Have you used or administered a Palantir Gotham environment? Do you have any experience supporting an Army customer or working in the U.S. Army? Are you comfortable operating independently with military customers, including direct engagement with senior officers or enlisted leaders? Have you trained military personnel on software solutions? If so, which software, and in what setting (group/classroom)? Are you familiar with Linux and comfortable using the command line interface (CLI)? Describe your experience in building training materials and how you've adapted those materials for diverse user groups. What are your communication strategies and tools you use to share information with internal and external stakeholders? What is your typical troubleshooting process when you hit a technical roadblock? At what point do you escalate? Have you ever missed a meeting or a deadline? What happened, and how did you communicate and recover from it? Have you previously worked as a field support representative (FSR)? If yes, where and supporting what capability or program? What are your initial expectations for this FSR position? Are you willing to relocate to Fort Bragg, NC? Are you comfortable with travel requirements and working on-site?

- Deploy, install, configure, and sustain technical intelligence and targeting systems on-site
- Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with military end-users to enable seamless system integration
- Deliver hands-on training for hardware and software components of the systems
- Respond to user inquiries with timely technical resolutions
- Log system issues, actions, and outcomes via formal reporting channels
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and modifications in field environments
- Stay current on Army intelligence doctrine, systems, and operational workflows
- Provide field feedback to support continuous system improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and security protocols
- Represent SHINE Systems and its client professionally and effectively in all engagements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent technical experience
- 4+ years of field service or system sustainment experience, ideally in a defense/military setting
- Strong skills in computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting software/hardware
- Ability to operate independently in high-pressure, mission-critical environments
- Prior experience supporting intelligence and targeting systems
- Familiarity with Army intelligence doctrine and mission platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience training military users on software or technical systems
- Comfort with Linux CLI and system administration
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to operational demands
