Job Title: Cyber Reverse Engineer
Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland
Clearance Requirement: Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
SUMMARY
Seeking a Cyber Reverse Engineer to contribute to a team that works hands-on with state-of-the-art electronics. You'll perform advanced analysis and evaluation of applications and firmware and assist with the development of new techniques for a variety of systems in support of the team's work on new technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
- BS in Computer Science or a related discipline and 5-7 years of directly related experience
- Significant understanding of:
- Networking
- Cybersecurity
- Linux
- Cryptography (public/private key pairs, symmetric, and asymmetric ciphers)
- Computer programming (C++/Python) and debugging
- High proficiency with written and verbal communications
- Ability to articulate technical concepts and findings to stakeholders to support decision making
- Experience with IDA Pro or Ghidra
- Strong understanding of reverse engineering tasks:
- Static/dynamic analysis
- Machine code emulation
- Firmware review
- Experience with:
- Networking and communication protocols (TCP/IP, I2C, SPI, UART)
- Linux
- ARM and Android internal processing and kernels (OS and apps)
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with Android OS and mobile device debugging techniques
- Experience analyzing APK files
- Experience in threat hunting or penetration testing
- Experience with electrical hardware and circuit board analysis
- Proficient with benchtop equipment:
- Oscilloscopes
- Signal/power analyzers
- Multimeters
- Experience performing micro-soldering
- Experience with unmanned systems such as:
- UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems)
- UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicles)
- USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicles)
- Familiarity with the programmatic use of APIs
- Experience working with containers at a technical level
