Cleared Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) – L4 / L5 I’m supporting a Space Force mission program and looking to connect with cleared Information Systems Security Engineers at both Level 4 and Level 5 to support classified ground systems in a lab environment in the Denver Co area! This role focuses on system security engineering across the full SDLC, including RMF, system authorization, and secure system design. Depending on experience, engineers may contribute at the implementation level or serve as a technical lead / SME, with opportunities to influence system architecture, Anti-Tamper, and Program Protection efforts. Experience of interest includes: RMF and A&A activities (SSP, SCTM, RAR, SAP/SAPP, ConMon, BoE) Security engineering for DoD systems and mission platforms NIST SP 800-53 / RMF Steps 1–4 System security design, threat/risk analysis, and vulnerability assessment DoD software approval (COTS/GOTS/FOSS) and STIG/SRG application Tools such as ACAS, eMASS/Xacta, Nessus, SCC, or similar Exposure to Anti-Tamper (AT), CPI protection, or Program Protection Plans (especially at senior levels) Clearance requirements: Active Secret clearance (Level 4) TS/SCI required (Level 5) — polygraph highly desired If you’re a cleared security engineer interested in Space Force missions, secure system design, or advancing into a lead/SME role, I’d welcome a conversation—even if timing isn’t immediate.
