This position is onsite in Tampa, FL and has a PoP of 5 years. As a Zero Trust Automation SME, you’ll be pivotal to USCENTCOM’s mission. Lead in designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions, enhancing our client’s Zero Trust security framework's efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). - Write and maintain scripts in YAML, Ruby, Python, and PowerShell. Integrate automation solutions with SOAR (e.g., Cortex XSOAR) and SIEM (e.g., Splunk) platforms. - Collaborate to implement DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. - Configure and manage API gateways (e.g., Kong, Apigee). - Identify automation opportunities and recommend Zero Trust solutions. - Develop and enforce automation policies and standards, ensuring DoD compliance. - Mentor junior automation engineers. - Stay current with emerging automation technologies and trends. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field. - 10+ years in automation and orchestration engineering with a Zero Trust focus. Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH). - Proficiency in YAML, Ruby, Python, and PowerShell. - Experience integrating automation solutions with SOAR and SIEM platforms. - Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of API gateways and networking concepts. - Knowledge of DoD automation standards and frameworks. Secret clearance required, TS/SCI preferred. Preferred Skills: - Ansible Automation Platform certification. - Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet).
