I’m hiring for two Network Engineering roles supporting a Navy program at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA. Openings: • Sr Network Engineer (Wireless) • Data Center Network Engineer Non-negotiable requirements: – Active DoD Top Secret clearance (or higher) – Active CCNP certification – Strong Cisco enterprise experience Wireless Role Experience: – Cisco 9000 series APs / Aruba AP275, 375, 515 – Cisco WLC configuration – SD-WAN / SD-Access – DISA STIG implementation – Enterprise routing (EIGRP / OSPF) Data Center Role Experience: – Cisco Nexus 7000/9000 – Cisco UCS / ACI – Advanced routing & switching – SDN technologies – SolarWinds, Splunk, Cisco ISE These roles support approximately 10,000 enterprise users across secure and unclassified environments. This is hands-on engineering and modernization work — not a maintenance-only position.
